EVERY STORY STARTS WITH A TAIL
Over the years, dogs have never really been separate from my life or my work. They were under desks, on sofas, in workshops, in offices and usually wherever I was.
Some of the dogs in this photograph are no longer with me, but every one of them helped shape the person I became and, ultimately, the business too.
Growing up, I always loved the idea behind those old Milk Tray adverts. The gift itself was only part of the story. What mattered most was the thought behind it and the emotion it carried.
Years later, after a lifetime surrounded by dogs, that simple idea inspired Send a Dog a Bone.
The occasions you’ll find throughout this website were inspired by the emotions dogs bring into our lives. Love, companionship, celebration, comfort, hope, loss, and everything in between.
They were created so people could celebrate the dogs who share their lives and send a little kindness to the dogs loved by family and friends too.
